“Now bands from Aram had gone out and had taken captive a young girl from Israel, and she serve Naaman’s wife. She said to her mistress, “If only my master would see the prophet who is in Samaria! He would cure him of his leprosy.”2 Kings 5:2,3 NIV
How much can a young servant girl in a foreign country, do for the kingdom of God? As a result of her faith-filled suggestion, a commander for the King of Aram, confessed, “Now I know that there is no God in all the world except Israel.” 2 Kings 5:15.
Service for God cannot be by comparison to others. God knows our abilities and how he can best use us. If he asks me to be a caring sister and I obey, that is just the same to him as if he had called me to a worldwide ministry and I obeyed.
Do not wait for some “great” opportunity to serve the Master. Be faithful in the “small” things today.
